...have suffered greatly through the loss of a loved one, others through the loss of a job or source of income. The loss is real and personal. We wonder how we will ever recover emotionally and financially. We continue to face uncertainty as we enter a new year 2021 and we take courage that things will begin to get better.
I have been drawn closer to God through this pandemic with the additional time afforded to me from having to work from home. I know working from home does not pertain to all of us as many of you continue to face risks to your personal health and emotional strength daily. I also know that with each patient encounter you bring the human touch that is longed-for, compassion, and spiritual support to those in dire need. You are a blessing to others and every action, every word spoken, and every gentle touch will not go unnoticed.
If we take the time to reflect on our journey through 2020 and intentionally look for the blessings we have received, we can find hope as we begin to move forward and step out to discover the opportunities that lay before us. God is with us always, through every personal struggle and every physical attack that we may encounter. We do not need to be afraid about what the future may hold. We need only to have faith in God to be secure about the future. He will make our paths straight according to His perfect plan for our lives.
Look for God’s direction in your life as the new year is born and receive his blessings the whole year through.
